They could not get the pco-scop to register a high enough vibration so they would not warranty the repair. The issue about the TCC shudder that many of us have experienced, and apparently carried over to a variety of GM models with the same trans assembly, seems to pretty accurately described in TSB #18-NA-355 (22 pages). The correct PN for the quart containers is 19353429. Local Transmission Shop to the Rescue! The problem with the 8L90 and 8L45 transmissions is certainly not unique, and really points out the importance of using the right transmission fluid! If TCC shudder is present, a vibration peak will appear within +/- 2 Hz of the frequency listed in Bulletin #18-NA-355.
